At the invitation of the staff, on the first Sunday afternoon in each month a small faithful team from Newbury Baptist Church attend Birchwood Care Home. There is a short service in the residents’ lounge, which usually includes some singing of familiar hymns/choruses, the Lord’s Prayer, reading a Psalm and also spontaneous renditions of well-known children’s songs! Please contact Marguerite for further information.
In addition to our Sunday Services we also have small groups that meet once a week in someone's home to build friendships, read the bible and pray together.
Why not come along and visit us this Sunday. Introduce yourself to one of our welcome team (with the badges) and we will do everything possible to help settle you in.
